oh no, it is almost Thanksgiving and I forgot to wish everybody a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
I have been so busy with the photo shoots and decorating for the holidays that I forgot to tell everybody about my new friends at the months rescue. this months rescue is rescue rebels from florida. "We pull dogs from high kill shelters in the state of Florida and we also take in owner surrenders. We are a small foster based 501c3 rescue with a mission of saving the abused, neglected, and forgotten dogs in our communities. We help them overcome their yesterday's and rewrite their tomorrow's." here is a story and a picture of my new friend chopper from rescue rebels:
Chopper (German Shepherd)
was saved from Orange County Animal Services. His owners had to surrender him to the shelter due to medical issues that were not affordable for them. He has a condition called perianal fistula and had a horrible wound that needed immediate attention. The shelter required rescue within 72 hours to avoid euthanasia. We pulled him and hospitalized him for two weeks before going to a foster home.
